I am not vegan. Not yet. I can tell you many reasons, excuses if you may, why I’m not. But I’m not going to. I can tell you many reasons why I want to. But I’m not going to do that either because google exists… And I’m saving that for another blog post.
I think the most important thing to remember is that life is all about making decisions. And we would all live so much more peacefully if we are allowed to make personal decisions without being criticized. Ultimately, you consider your options– what’s most sustainable for you? what’s the best that you can do?– and you take it from there. You decide what you want to do. Nobody can–and nobody should–decide for you.
That said, I will be posting mostly about vegan ideas in this blog because we all know vegans, well, they have a really good point. Climate change is alarming and the world is not getting any younger. But if it makes you feel horrible to not have that sunny side up in the morning, or if saying no to chicken is something that you cannot do every day, then that’s okay, too. What I’m saying is you do what you can to stay sane and do what you can to make the world a better place. And every day, you choose to do what you can and hopefully, you get better at it.
And that’s what we’re doing here.
